Human Rights & Responsible Labour Policy
Microboard supports fundamental principles and rights at work and expects the same from its supply chain.
Principles:
- prohibition of forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking;
- prohibition of unlawful child labour;
- respect for freedom of association and collective bargaining in accordance with applicable law;
- non-discrimination;
- a workplace free from harassment and violence;
- working hours and compensation consistent with applicable law;
- a safe and healthy working environment;
- respect for dignity and privacy.
Suppliers are expected to disclose material risks and cooperate with corrective action where violations are identified.
Microboard will seek a risk-based, improvement-oriented approach without replacing each employer's legal responsibility toward its own workers.
